Lamp between technology and craftsmanship

Crassa (Catalan for "succulent plant") emerges at the boundary between craftsmanship and technology. The lamp aims to fuse these two worlds in a single product. Made with one of the most primitive production processes, pottery, and one of the most innovative ones, 3D printing.

Its shape starts with a cylindric base that represents the connection with the natural world. At the top, the cylinder grows into an abstract shape, reminiscent of a plant, and the material changes to plastic. So its whole body represents the evolution of humanity and the production processes, from the ground to the sky.

To be placed in between plants and pots.
